The owner of the biker bar, Mike Ballard is just one of the cast members who races against the clock in order to serve the massive amounts of people who visit the saloon each day. The saloon is only open for a limited number of days each year in August. The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has more than 300,000 people visit during the festival. During this time period, the owner and his team members are pressured into making the years worth of salary in just the short amount of days during the festival. The owner of Full Throttle Saloon first purchased the property in 1999 where he turned it into the largest biker bar for the Sturgis area.
