All the amenities you could possibly need both inside the apartment and in the communal areas. The apartment was wonderfully decorated and felt very welcoming. Pool is never too busy and is always quiet and relaxing. The owner also provided beach towels, beach balls, tennis racquets etc. There's a b ar by the pool serving drinks and food all day from breakfast through to late evening - prices are so so cheap too (we planned to make lunch every day in the apartment, but prices in the bar for lunch were just as cheap).
If you are looking to make food yourself, there are lots of local markets nearby selling bread, fresh fruit, milk etc, as well as a larger supermarket just down the road. There are lovely bars/restaurants/shops really close in the town of Kumkoy, but equally you can take a nice long stroll/bus/cab to get into the town of side (pronounced see-day). The owners provided a great guide book with recommendations and business cards for restaurants that they recommend which was super useful since we had no idea of where to go (personal recommendations from the ones we tried: Conny's, Umut, Aphrodite, Karma (this is more on the pricey side), Appolonik, Shanty bar.) Lots of shops to book trips locally too (water rafting and boat trips etc) Beach is also not too far away, but to be honest we opted to stay round the pool most days as we went in peak summer - too hot to move!
September onwards however is perfect weather to stroll into town during the day. This apartment is perfect for anyone from couples to families with big and small children. If you're looking for a nice relaxing, hot holiday somewhere other than loud packed hotels, this is a great choice (you only have to walk past the 'Narcia' hotel to realise how good you've got it). We arrived at the Tropicana G2 apartment it was very clean and tidy and had everything you needed right on hand. The pool was quiet and very clean and on two days we actually had the pool practically to ourselves. Location was great close to t he old town and the drop off and collection service from Shanty beach bar was second to none.
Trips suggested by Richard and his team were great and we highly recommend the white water rafting day. Great holiday would defiantly book and go again. Stayed at this apartment with my wife & 17 year old son. The quality of the furnishings etc. Was good & the second toilet/shower room was a bonus. There were more than enough bath towels and a good number of beach towels to save you luggage space when you travel. The swimming pool was very clean wit h no problems getting a sun lounger (apartment has own lounger mattresses).
Enjoyed eating breakfast & lunch on the balcony which was shaded at the hottest time of day.Security staff were very friendly & polite. Although the complex is not right in town, it is only a short stroll to the nearest supermarket & restaurants.
A trip into the ' Old Town' is worthwhile at least once with an abundance of restaurants & souvenir shops to choose from (never had a bad meal during our stay). This was our first trip to Turkey & we really enjoyed it.
We would recommend these apartments & would have no hesitation on staying here again. Clean, modern and well equipped apartment Facilities first class, private pool was fantastic and jacuzzi hot tub on patio was lovely for the evenings great kitchen, 3 beds, 3 bathrooms could not ask for more. Small shop on site selling essentials more shops and and lovely restaurants within few mi nutes walk or you can catch the dolmus into Side town to see the ruins and harbour takes 10 mins and is really cheap. Beach is 15 mins walk. Restaurant on site really welcoming, serves great food and priced reasonably too.
